Indian Education System: Into the Future

“Change does not necessarily assure progress, but progress implacably requires change. Education is essential to change, for education, creates both new wants and the ability to satisfy them.”
Henry S. Commager

'Gurukul' System of Education: It was the first and the foremost way of teaching system in India followed all over the country. The teachers were known as the ‘Gurus’ and students were called ‘Vidyarthi’. It was basically a form of teaching which was mentored, scheduled and examination focused to excel to higher levels.

The methodology of proctored classes is deeply instilled in the Indian Education system and has become an integral part of it. Over a period of time, the population has increased, the number of students has grown up, new forms of learning and teaching has evolved, the cost of having a good education has increased, and time management has become a necessity.

In today’s era, traditional teaching methodology is being replaced by an online system of teaching where there are pre-recorded lectures, making it cost-effective as there is no need for classrooms (physical infrastructure), saves time as students can learn according to their convenience helping to manage time more effectively and content catering to the wide range of students.

But is this system actually penetrating the Indian market? Is it satisfying the needs of the Indian Education system? Is it benefiting Indian Students? Is it bridging the skill gap between the graduates produced by the Indian universities and that demanded by the corporate?

The questions need to be answered and one possible solution can be an all in one Online Learning platform which trains the students for the courses that help in developing the skills required by the industry, making the Indian students globally competent, walking on the lines of our Traditional teaching which has a mentor, customizing it accordingly to the needs of students in terms of time, place and cost without compromising on the quality by instilling one to one teaching methodology.

Another key challenge that the E-learning industry in India is currently facing is maintaining the learner engagement. In traditional classrooms, this challenge is addressed by the physical constraints, the teacher and social behavior. The one to one online teaching methodology should cater to this issue as engagement is actually the prime focus for both tutors and students, thus eliminating issues faced by the student regarding the availability of the appropriate batch size, cost, time, etc.

Such innovations accustomed to the Indian needs is expected to shape the Indian education industry in a positive way, making the teaching and learning experience more productive and exciting.

E-learning – The Future of Quality Education

With the advent in the field of technology, education is now no longer confined within four walls but has now become boundaryless. The Internet has long ago made it possible to gather knowledge from any corner of the world. Today it is possible to pursue education online. Anyone anywhere can pursue any degree or certificate course online. Education has now become virtual. There are numerous such sources available online that can help us increase our knowledge and skills. What is E-learning? E-learning or ‘Electronic Learning’ is any form of learning through an electronic medium. It includes videoconferencing, online courses, one to one customized learning programs and courses, etc., which is totally online. E-Learning includes any form of learning through the Internet like distance education, online learning, mobile learning, etc. E-Learning has transformed the whole education system from primary classes to the highest de

SAP – ERP

SAP stands for Systems,  Applications, and Products in Data Processing and ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning, hence combining both abbreviations can be understood as software that is meant for the use of the enterprise holistic use. SAP holds its initiation in the year 1972. It was formed by 5 former IBM employees from Germany who thought of such a revolutionary idea to develop software that can satisfy the needs of an organization. The various solutions offered by SAP for various management functions are as follows:- Human Capital Management (SAP HCM) Production Plann

Adaptive Learning – Future of e-learning industry

Adaptive learning is a revolution in the field of education. This system uses computer algorithms to customize learning resources as per requirement of the learner. This system of e-learning is very useful not only for students but also for professionals. The genesis of this system is based on the fact that customized learning was not possible on a large-scale basis. Well adaptive learning breaks all the traditional dilemmas and provides a solution which is quite scalable.    This technology of learning has its origin since the AI movement but gained momentum in mid 1970’s. The system hence delivers custom learning capabilities that address the distinctive needs of an individual through just-in-time feedback, pathways, and resources in place of generalized experiences.   Imagine a tutor, like one in this picture helping the student understand a concept. Here, the tutor adapts according to the understanding level of the students and modifies the approach. Now, as the
